Salvador Cordova kirjoittaa järkevästi
Tätä ei heti uskoisi, mutta YEC, ex-UD bloggaaja Salvador Cordova on mennyt ja kirjoittanut omassa Young Cosmos-blogissaan jotain mikä on järkevää.
Cordovan mielestä Answers in Genesis ja International Creation Research järjestöjen vaatimus allekirjoittaa Raamatun ylivaltaa ylistävät julistukset ei sovi tieteelliseen tutkimukseen. Siksi hän ei ole AiG:n jäsen. Minun täytyy oikein lainata parasta kohtaa:Is the creationist position so weak it must be defended by creeds instead of evidence? Is there biblical calculus? Is their biblical geometry? Is there a biblical value of PI? Is there biblical thermodynamics? Is there biblical chemistry? No. Such things are nonsense and are not made any better or more glorifying to God by suggesting a scientific idea is correct by merely saying, “thus saith the Lord.”
Cordova suosittelee uskovaisia käyttämään havaittavaa maailmaa - eikä pyhiä tekstejä - Raamatun oikeellisuuden perustelussa. Tällä tavalla voidaan välttää ilmiselvä kehäpäättely.
Toivokaamme, että Cordova jatkaa tällä rataa myös tulevissa viesteissään.

Itse asiassa, toivotaan että Sal kirjoittaa jatkossa jotakin seuraavanlaista:
Is the ID position so weak that it must be defended by gaps in our knowledge instead of evidence? Is there archaeology based on gaps? Is there SETI based on gaps? Is there criminal investigation based on gaps? No. Such things are nonsense and are not made any better or more glorifying to the Designer by suggesting a scientific idea is correct by merely saying, "Lookey! Here's a gap".
